CHAINON'S WOMEN 2025

I just stumbled upon this work I did for Le Chaînon last year while going through my archives.

These images are unedited. It felt right to leave them as they are. I’m sharing them here as a way to hold onto the looks I encountered that day. Powerful, beautiful, and resilient women, simply being themselves, shining through their scars. Some still navigating difficult moments, others having found their way out. All marked in their own ways, yet finding a glimpse of light in where they are now.

I could never recreate a gaze like theirs. There’s something profoundly human in it that I can’t fully explain. Being there, behind my camera, capturing those moments was, as always, a humbling experience.

Sometimes you need to step away from your work, and come back to it later, to truly see it.
