SHORT FILM - DOCUMENTARY - TURKEY
Currently not available for public viewing (in distribution).
For 19-year-old Kaan, a young camel trainer, Turkey’s camel wrestling tradition is neither mere spectacle nor folklore. It is a passion, a way to connect neighboring communities, and above all, a profound bond with the animal. On the eve of Bozdoğan’s annual festival, this short documentary immerses us in the event through Kaan’s eyes and those of Mustafa, a seasoned guardian of the tradition, revealing a singular culture, a close-knit community, and a unique human-animal relationship.
